Drug Uses
Viagra is used to treat impotence in men. It increases the body`s ability to achieve and maintain an erection during sexual stimulation. This product does not protect you from getting sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.  
Viagra helps to stimulate an erection during sexual excitement. However Viagra does not create erection, it only helps to maintain it.

How Taken
Viagra tablets are taken by mouth with or without food. It is used Viagra as needed from 30 minutes to 4 hours before intimate connection. Take Viagra once a day only and never more. Viagra comes in 3 doses: 25 mg, 50mg and 100 mg. Doctors recommend to start with 50mg or 100 mg, however most patients find 100 mg more effective. But never double you dose. Consult your doctor to determine your dosage.

Warnings/Precautions
Make your doctor aware if you ever had: a heart attack, stroke, irregular heartbeats during last year, heart failure, coronary diseases, and blood problems, like sickle cell anemia or leukemia. Angina, high and low blood pressure, liver and kidney problems, a stomach ulcer and retinitis pigmentosa are also serious counter indications against Viagra as well as other ED treating meds. Your doctor should take these factors into consideration when determining the proper dosage and taking schedule. Patient older than 65 years should take additional care when taking Viagra. Viagra should be taken by men only.

Missed Dose
Viagra is used only when needed, so a missed dose cannot happen. However do not exceed your prescribed dose and schedule, as the enhancing effect won’t improve, but side effects will worsen.

Possible Side Effects
Viagra side effects are usually moderate and fade away within a few hours. Among the negative side effects are: headache, flushing of the face, and upset stomach. Rarely Viagra can arouse temporary vision changes in color perception. Search medical help if any of these negative side effects do not ease off in several hours. Viagra can cause back pain and muscle aches from 12 up to 24 hours. Seek medical help if your erection causes pain or lasts longer than 4 hours. Do not perform any unsafe operations such as driving, lifting heavy loads and etc. unless your reaction to the medication is determined. If any negative symptoms develop or worsen, contact you doctor.

Storage
The medication should be stored away from heat, moisture and light at room temperature, between 59 – 86 °F (15 – 30 °C). Keep it away from children.

Overdose
Seek emergency medical attention. Symptoms of a Viagra overdose are not known, but are likely to include chest pain, dizziness, an irregular heartbeat, and swelling of the ankles or legs.

More Information
If you take any medicines that contain nitrates – either regularly or as needed – you should never take Viagra. If you take Viagra with any nitrate medicine or recreational drug containing nitrates, your blood pressure could suddenly drop to an unsafe level. You could get dizzy, faint, or even have a heart attack or stroke. Nitrates are found in many prescription medicines that are used to treat angina. Do not let anyone else take your Viagra. It must be used only under a doctor`s supervision.  
Avoid combining Viagra with nitrates, alpha–blockers and recreational drugs containing nitrates called "poppers" as it may result in dropping your blood pressure or cause other serious negative side effects. Nitrates are contained in many medicines used to against angina. Make your doctor aware if you are sensitive or allergic to any component of Viagra. Dosage and schedule should be determined by your doctor. Seek medical help if your erection causes pain or lasts longer than 4 hours.
